The ColourFutures™ library is put together each year by an international team of color experts. This year, 76 colors were chosen to form the five themes for 2009. This team really does their homework—their findings are the result of worldwide color trend research, forecasting and development. Their information is gathered from research groups, color marketing and trade and retail exhibitions, and from design influences from the worlds of fashion, technology, architecture, music, nature and pop culture.
